	MEANING :
	1. habitually jocund, humorous or playful 2. given to or characterised by joking
	USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
	The master of ceremonies opened the party with a jocular statement that set the trend for the evening.
	USAGE EXAMPLE 2 :

jurisprudence [ joo’ r-is-PROOD-ns, JOO’ R-is-prood- ]
	[ noun ]
	MEANING :
	1. the science or philosophy of law 2. system, department or body of law
	USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
	The aspiring lawyer became a scholar of jurisprudence in order to get a better perceptive of the legal system.
	USAGE EXAMPLE 2 :

	MEANING :
	1. to beat, hit or hit excessive 2. to repeatedly assault verbally 3. to harp on, explain or insist on excessively
	USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
	The farmer belaboured the ass with his staff in order to get it to carry the heavy load up the slope.

	MEANING :
	1. creating or affording shade 2. likely to take offence, irritable
	USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
	The weary traveller rested under an umbrageous tree which provided him with shelter from the blazing sun.
	USAGE EXAMPLE 2 :

	USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
	He thought he could unravel the mysteries of the universe by becoming an astronomer.
